ph3Summary /h3 pThe Inspector I performs basic inspection work in petroleum, petrochemical, gas, grain, oils and fats terminals and refineries; also performs inspection work on board barges and ships following industry standards and the procedures published by API, Fosfa, Gafta and Saybolt. /p h3Duties Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssist other inspectors from the department and Account Managers in responsibility duties of the location. /li liEnsure efficient work within the location to meet client needs accurately and in time. /li liWork at different locations and on offshore operations as requested by the company. /li liCarry out port activity and sometimes offshore on high seas; develop and fulfill functions of the job description, including standby service, constituting a function of the job and carried out within the ordinary working day. /li liOperate at lowest possible costs while meeting safety, quality, and maintenance requirements. /li liEnsure full cooperation with the department and Managers on all assignments. /li liFollow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including HSE Manual, Accounting Policies Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc.; stay updated and act accordingly. /li liReport directly to Inspection Account Managers. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liA high school diploma or equivalent (general education degree). /li li1 year as an Inspector or related experience. /li liGood verbal and written knowledge of local language and English. /li liProficient user of MS Office. /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills Attributes /h3 ul liAll kinds of possible samplings measurements. /li liCapable to perform any kind of Inspection vessel and shore with supervision of a higher level Inspector or Account Manager. /li /ul h3Other Information /h3 ul liInspectors must have a vehicle in good, safe operating condition that can be used on the job for both personal and sample transportation in all ambient weather conditions; vehicles used for sample transportation must be able to accommodate the secondary sample containers issued for sample transportation. /li liInspectors are required to maintain the proper levels of automobile liability insurance and meet all state requirements on vehicles used for Saybolt assignments. /li liInspectors must also maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. /li liLocal travel and occasional out-of-town assignments are required. /li /ul pCore Laboratories, including all of its affiliated and related entities, is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
