Internal & External Communications trainee Madrid, Spain (Hybrid) Job Description Position As Internal & External Communications Expert you’ll be responsible for shaping, managing, and executing the organization’s communication strategy. This role ensures clear, consistent, and engaging messaging across all channels, fostering strong internal alignment and enhancing the company’s visibility and reputation with external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities 1. Internal Communications Develop and implement internal communication plans that support company goals, organizational changes, and employee engagement initiatives. Create clear, compelling content for internal newsletters, intranet platforms, leadership messages, and employee campaigns. Support leadership in preparing presentations, speeches, and town hall materials. Measure the effectiveness of internal communications and identify opportunities for improvement. 2. External Communications Craft and deliver external messaging, like executive communications. Support brand management and ensure alignment across public-facing content. Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and public sentiment to advise leadership. 3. Content Development Produce high‑quality written content: articles, Q&As, social media posts, website copy, and thought‑leadership materials. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and tone consistency aligned with company brand and values. Manage editorial calendars for internal and external communication initiatives. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with HR, Marketing, and Leadership teams to ensure communication alignment. Support change‑management programs by providing communication strategies and materials. Partner with key internal stakeholders to highlight success stories, achievements, and key initiatives. Skills & Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. 2+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or similar roles. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English and Spanish Strong understanding of communication channels and digital platforms. Personal Attributes Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills. Proactive, curious, and able to work independently. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
