Experteer Overview
As a Systems Engineer in our Operations team, you will provide hands-on support for SCADA infrastructures across remote renewable energy plants. You will ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical systems, collaborating with engineering, customers, and internal teams. The role combines systems administration, troubleshooting, automation, and incident response to drive continuous improvement. You will work in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment with a focus on secure, scalable infrastructure. • Provide operational support for SCADA infrastructures at remote sites
• Investigate and resolve incidents affecting servers, virtualization, networking, and databases
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments
• Support virtualized infrastructures and ensure platform availability
• Contribute to incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive actions
• Automate repetitive operational tasks through scripting and tooling
• Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure service continuity
• Participate in operational improvement initiatives, standardization, and knowledge sharing
Responsabilidades
• Experience with Windows Server administration (AD, DCs, GPOs, PowerShell)
• Experience supporting infrastructure in SCADA/industrial/critical environments
• Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V primary; VMware and Proxmox a plus)
• Basic Linux administration and troubleshooting
• Networking fundamentals (switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS)
• SQL Server and MySQL administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with operational tooling, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure support frameworks
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with cross-functional collaboration
