IT Systems Engineer (Fixed-term contract)

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to align with company guidelines and SOP
Install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system‑management tools
Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
Implement warranty and support activities
Plan and implement system automation to improve efficiency
Design, review, document, and enforce policies and procedures for standardizing day‑to‑day IT functions
Support daily office IT operations as needed
Manage general software and user creation processes
Implement security best practices, including patching, access control, endpoint protection, and related policies
Monitor and maintain office network infrastructure (switches, routers, wireless access points)
Troubleshoot connectivity issues and secure access via VPN
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
2+ years of experience with IT systems, networks, monitoring tools, and related technologies (macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, hardware)
Experience with endpoint device management and incident management
Vendor management experience
Knowledge of IT administration and system security best practices
Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Slack technical support
Experience with Apple devices
Experience with JAMF
Experience with Fortinet
Experience with scripting languages
Knowledge of AWS
