The Syneos Health Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for achieving local access and sales targets for a lead product assigned to that territory by the business in the cardiometabolism space, Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) as the initial ultra-orphan indication, with Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG) in development. This role involves utilization of omni-channel promotional materials to engage healthcare professionals (HCPs), build relationships, and provide information and support to drive account performance.
Job Responsibilities
Achievement of local access, sales and activity targets in line with company expectations and brand strategies.
Develop, communicate and track key account business plans, ensuring a stakeholder map of key influencers drives targeting of business-critical HCPs that lead to optimal growth and access for patients to our customer’s medicines.
Demonstrate consistent and regularly updated product and disease area knowledge in order to enable "trusted advisor" status with target HCPs.
Produce, communicate and implement local plans calling in support as appropriate.
Work with data insights and EU Commercialization team to ensure accounts and HCPs are optimally targeted through CRM to allow effective levels of coverage and frequency that will drive regular and targeted influencing of the HCPs that have biggest impact on sales and sales growth.
Be proactive in providing key market, competitor and customer feedback that will support the development of sales, marketing and access strategies for relevant functions.
Requirements
Life Sciences Degree (BSC) or equivalent.
Experience working in a customer-facing pharmaceutical KAM role.
Previous experience in launching new secondary care products.
Product launch experience with knowledge of the Cardiometabolism and/ or rare disease markets, products, therapeutic areas, and business/clinical environments.
Demonstrable knowledge of local customer/accounts and relevant disease area.
Ability / business acumen to navigate the local healthcare environment.
