Overview The Nanoscience Cooperative Research Center, CIC nanoGUNE, located in Donostia / San Sebastian, Basque Country (Spain), is currently looking for a Laboratory Technician NanoGUNE is a research center devoted to conducting world-class nanoscience research for a competitive growth of the Basque Country. NanoGUNE is a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA) and is recognized by the Spanish Research Agency as a María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence. We are looking for a technician to support the operations of our experimental physics laboratory. Responsibilities Maintenance of vacuum and cryogenic equipment Automation and programming of measurement systems Design and repair of electronic components CAD design for experimental setups Logistical support during experimental measurements Qualifications FP degree, Engineering degree or similar studies Excellent command of English Knowledge of electricity and analog electronics Proactive attitude towards learning new methods and acquiring knowledge Strong coordination skill and adaptability in an international environment Desirable experience (not compulsory) 3D design and equipment maintenance Programming (Python, LabVIEW) Design and repair of electronic components We promote teamwork in a diverse and inclusive environment and welcome all kinds of applicants regardless of age, disability, gender, nationality, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
