Our sales offices are in Queretaro, Monterrey, Puebla and Hermosillo, and we are now looking for the right person to join our team, who has the motivation, commitment, and necessary skills to make the best out of this opportunity. We have a full-time job vacancy in our Queretaro office for a Manufacturing / Process Engineer, which requires availability to travel for training and work trips in Mexico, United States and Europe. The position is for one of the international companies that we represent, who is a major player in the design and manufacturing of highly engineered clamps and connectors, mainly in the automotive and aerospace industries, providing innovative and high-performance solutions for fluid management, exhaust systems and critical connections. With a strong focus on engineering excellence, quality and continuous improvement, the company works closely with its customers to develop customized solutions and support new industrial projects from design to serial production. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing / Process Engineer to support the implementation of manufacturing processes in Queretaro, to ensure a stable and reliable start of production, working closely with international teams in Mexico, United States and Europe. Responsibilities Coordinate product industrialization process and activities to ensure a stable and reliable start of production. Define and modify production processes, including special machines, production lines, layouts, and component and product flows. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, cost targets, performance objectives, timelines and allocated budgets, as well as adherence to project schedules agreed with customers. Analyze data and manufacturing requirements to propose production processes, manufacturing solutions, equipment and workflows that meet customer requirements while complying with profitability criteria, in collaboration with Engineering, Production and Operations Management. Depending on the scope of the project, prepare technical specifications defining the production process, layout and production areas, inspection, assembly and manufacturing flow, considering previous experience and ergonomic requirements. Verify the consistency of manufacturing flows once implementation is completed. Define, develop and validate manufacturing routings and process sequences like cycle times, operation order, process documentation, etc. Lead technical coordination with internal teams and external suppliers during industrialization and process modification projects. Organize design and acceptance reviews and ensure effective communication among all internal and external participants. Validate each stage of the manufacturing process and document meetings, communicating remaining actions or alternative solutions when applicable. Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of technical documentation, including work instructions, maintenance instructions, and process control plans. Coordinate information digitalization, ensuring consistency between physical flows and information systems. Review and validate technical proposals, specifications and process changes to ensure compliance with quality, cost and delivery objectives. Review and validate supplier’s technical proposals, against the defined specifications. Ensure the same objectives are met with suppliers. Support budgeting, cost analysis and definition, capacity evaluation and monitor execution after validation by Operations Management. Analyze and validate deviations and propose corrective actions when required. Perform and/or coordinate user training and support production start-up and ramp-up activities. Participate in layout, re-layout and packaging improvement projects to optimize manufacturing flows and costs. Contribute to digitalization, continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives within production areas. Monitor new manufacturing technologies, processes and industry best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, Aeronautical, or Biomedical Engineering. High level of Integrity and Accountability. Experience working in automotive manufacturing industry. Advanced English proficiency for communication with international teams. At least 3 years of proven experience in manufacturing processes, industrialization or process engineering roles. Experience coordinating industrialization or process implementation projects in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies or industrial optimization tools. Experience in production processes, manufacturing workflows and industrial equipment. Ability to analyze production data, define process improvements and propose technical solutions. Knowledge in quality standards and manufacturing compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with problem-solving methodologies. Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Organization and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Availability to travel. Visa to travel to the USA. Desirable Qualifications Experience coordinating or working with external suppliers and contractors. Experience with fluid systems (automotive tubes and hoses). Master’s degree in engineering or related field. Experience with clamps and connection systems. Experience working with industrial systems such as MES, ERP (SAP) or similar manufacturing systems.
