Experteer Overview In this role you contribute to the mechanical design and validation of satellite subsystems and payloads, joining a multidisciplinary space engineering team. You will translate requirements into robust designs, drawings, and test plans, supporting integration and testing activities. You’ll influence mechanical interfaces, thermal and structural trade-offs, and ensure the system meets technical goals. This role offers hands-on design work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with real impact on space-based connectivity.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Mechanical design and modeling of subsystems and payloads; define interfaces and create preliminary designs
- Produce and maintain design documentation, drawings, test procedures, and tooling requirements (vibration, shock, TVAC)
- Provide technical support to AIT activities including fabrication, assembly, integration, and tests
- Ensure design capability meets technical requirements and supports system-level goals
- Contribute to structural and thermal decisions and engineering trade-offs to optimize architectures
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, interface control drawings, and tooling specifications
- Maintain and update mechanical design documentation throughout project lifecycleResponsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field); 2+ years hands-on mechanical design experience
- Experience with mechanical subsystems and payloads is a plus
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM software is a plus
