This role is part of Remote’s Mobility and Onboarding team, focused on immigration compliance and global relocation. This position offers the chance to impact the global employment landscape directly.What You BringProven experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles, with a focus on immigrationA comprehensive understanding of immigration procedures and the processes involved in ensuring immigration complianceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environmentDemonstrated composure and efficiency under pressure, maintaining high performance during peak workloadsExperience in the technology sector or in a rapidly growing company is highly desirableFlexible and adaptable team player who can adjust to evolving prioritiesStrong customer-facing experience with excellent communication skills across diverse client basesInterest in expanding knowledge of global immigration laws and developing expertiseExperience working remotely and/or asynchronously with minimal supervision is an advantageFluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plusKey ResponsibilitiesProvide legal and strategic guidance on immigration compliance service deliveryMonitor and manage Remote products and services for immigration complianceEstablish and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersIdentify and establish in-house immigration services to increase revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfactionAnalyze, prepare, and submit visa/work permit applicationsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and regulatory changes; manage internal documentationHandle escalations, determine when senior review is required, and guide stakeholders to timely resolutionsAdvise on travel needs, counsel on immigration processes, and serve as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship casesTrack case statuses using case management and billing systemsApply immigration knowledge to provide solution-based responses for complex client casesBe a collaborative team member who can also work autonomously and take ownership of day-to-day tasksProactively improve processes through automation and documentationPracticalsReporting to: Manager, MobilityTeam: MobilityLocation: Open to applicants with priority for certain locations to diversify the team (AMER)Start date: As soon as possibleApplication processInterview with recruiterInterview with future managerInterview with team members (no managers present)Bar Raiser InterviewPrior employment verification checkBenefitsWork from anywhereFlexible paid time offFlexible working hours (async)16 weeks paid parental leaveMental health support servicesStock optionsLearning budgetHome office budget & IT equipmentBudget for local in-person events or co-working spacesHow You’ll Plan Your Day (and Life)Remote works asynchronously to let you plan around your life.
