MSG‑3 (Maintenance Steering Group) aims to present a methodology to be used for developing scheduled maintenance tasks and intervals that are acceptable to regulatory authorities, operators and manufacturers. The main idea behind this concept is to recognize the inherent reliability of aircraft systems and components, avoid unnecessary maintenance tasks and achieve increased efficiency. /p h3YOUR CHALLENGES /h3 pThe basic goal of MSG‑3 is to identify maintenance tasks that are both effective and efficient in enabling a new aircraft to be designed and operated in a manner that achieves a satisfactory level of safety and reliability throughout its life.
