The company is able to offer best‑in‑class launch services to commercial satellite operators, institutions, space agencies and national and international governmental entities.MissionAs a Non‑Conformance Management (NCM) Engineer your mission will be to lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of non‑conformance cases across our programs. In this role, you will manage and improve the Non‑Conformance Management System, lead review boards, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure timely resolution and documentation of NCRs. You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to drive corrective actions, track their effectiveness, and support program reviews with accurate reporting and insights.ResponsibilitiesImplement, manage, maintain and improve the Non‑Conformance Management system.Lead the Non‑Conformance Review boards.Develop and implement NC management tools for their treatment.Follow up non‑conformances during their whole lifecycle, ensuring that dispositions are taken and corrective actions defined and implemented.Keep NCRs updated.Ensure that all NC stakeholders are properly aware of the non‑conformances raised and participate in their resolution.Follow up the effectiveness of the implementation of corrective actions.Prepare NCR packages to deliver to suppliers and subcontractors.Be the Focal Point for NC management of non‑conformances from suppliers.Prepare NC reports for program reviews.Keep updated the NC List in the CADM tool.Necessary RequirementsBachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, with preference in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.Minimum of 2 years in quality assurance, preferably in the aerospace industry.Experience in non‑conformance management and root cause analysis.Strong knowledge of non‑conformances management principles and root cause analysis tools (Ishikawa, RCCA, 5 Whys, FMEA, Pareto, etc.).Strong understanding of quality management principles, quality control techniques, and product assurance processes.Hands‑on‑the‑job, autonomy, communication and reporting skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.Experience with quality management software tools and systems.Desired RequirementsExperience in product assurance or quality management within the aerospace industry and with ECSS standards:ECSS‑Q‑ST‑10C (Space Product Assurance)ECSS‑Q‑ST‑10‑09 (Nonconformance Control System)ECSS‑Q‑ST‑20 (Quality Assurance)Experience in working under a Quality Management System based in ISO 9100.Knowledge of launch vehicle or spacecraft manufacturing and testing processes.Experience with quality control of external deliverables.Physiotherapy within our facilities50% discount on your health insuranceYou can sign‑up your family members with health insurance at a competitive price.Healthy snacks and lots of fruitFind balance23 days of paid vacation plus December 24th and 31stNever stop learningWe encourage practical learningWe promote professional development through internal mobility and teamworkFocus on your financial futureChildcare flexible contributionsRestaurant ticketsTransport flexible contributionsTraining supportValuesWe have five critical beliefs that guide the way PLD Space is shaping the future of space launch technologies.Teamwork.Commitment.Keep it simple.Join us to reinvent how rockets are built!
