Overview
As On-Demand Finance Lead at Glovo, you own the vertical’s financial performance and growth strategy, collaborating with Product & Tech to build scalable fintech features. You will steer the P&L, design automated O2C processes, and drive data-driven cost discipline. You’ll lead a small finance team and influence cross-functional partners to scale the on-demand business sustainably. This role offers visibility, autonomy, and the chance to shape financial operations at a fast-growing tech marketplace.
ResponsabilidadesOwn end-to-end P&L for the On-Demand vertical, model scenarios, evaluate expansions, and implement cost-reduction initiativesDesign and optimize scalable Order-to-Cash workflows, ensure timely partner invoicing, and drive zero-debt targets with Financial Systems and GBS teamsPartner with Product and Engineering to develop Fintech features and automate financial workflows using AI and modern toolingCollaborate with Commercial to set dynamic pricing, establish guidelines, and support complex contractsLead and coach 2 Finance Analysts, setting goals and developing their capabilities
Requisitos principales5+ years in Strategic Finance, Financial Operations, Commercial Finance, Strategy Consulting (e.g., MBB), or CFO-track roles in fast-paced tech or marketplace environmentsFull P&L ownership and modeling experience, with a track record of cost-reduction or growth initiativesStructured problem solving with data-driven, hypothesis-led approachesExecutive presence and stakeholder management with cross-functional collaboration (Commercial, Ops, Product, GBS)Fluent English (written and spoken)communicationstakeholder managementleadershipO2C familiarity and invoicing processesdata querying ability (SQL or willingness to learn)finance operations tooling
