Overview
In this role you will provide on-site support for OT and automation systems, focusing on troubleshooting, incident resolution, and compliant change execution. You will work across Siemens environments and other automation platforms to ensure stable operations in critical production settings. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain validated baselines, perform backups and recovery, and contribute to QMS/GAMP 5 compliant processes. ResponsabilidadesSupport OT systems, incidents, service requests, and change management activitiesTroubleshoot PLC, SCADA, OPC/PI, and industrial communication issuesWork with Siemens environments: TIA Portal, WinCC, Step 7, Step 5Support Siemens PLC systems and automation infrastructureSupport Beckhoff automation systems (optional)Support DeltaV systems and automation components (optional)Analyze PLC CPU and communication diagnosticsPerform firmware, memory, and module health checksSupport OT patching, firmware upgrades, and software updatesRestore system communication and perform recovery actionsSupport PLC programming modifications and control logic adjustmentsConfigure and maintain HMI/SCADA applicationsParticipate in commissioning, FAT, SAT, and validation activitiesSupport automation projects, upgrades, and system integrationsTrace I/O and field signals using E&I drawings and technical documentationPerform OT backups, restore procedures, and disaster recovery supportMaintain validated system baselines and technical documentationExecute and document changes according to QMS/GAMP 5 proceduresCoordinate with Engineering, Automation, IT, Production, Quality, OEMs, and vendorsSupport OT cybersecurity, access control, and system hardening activities
Requisitos principalesExperience with OT, industrial automation, or control systems environmentsStrong knowledge of PLC and SCADA systemsHands-on experience with Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, and Step 7Experience with Step 5, Beckhoff, or DeltaV is an advantageKnowledge of industrial communication protocols such as OPC, PI, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and ProfibusUnderstanding of PLC CPUs, I/O modules, firmware, and diagnosticsExperience with OT patching, backups, restore procedures, and change controlAbility to read E&I drawings, loop diagrams, I/O lists, and network diagramsExperience in GMP/GxP or validated environmentsUnderstanding of GAMP 5 and QMS processesFamiliarity with OT cybersecurity conceptsStrong troubleshooting and documentation skillsAbility to support production-critical systems onsiteValid criminal record extract (not older than 3 months) requiredTroubleshooting mindsetStrong communication and coordinationAttention to detailSiemens TIA PortalWinCCStep 7
