The Foundation operates the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC) in partnership with Pompeu Fabra University. The BBRC’s scientific team comprises researchers and professionals in medicine, biology, psychology, nursing and related fields.Job DescriptionThe Pasqual Maragall Foundation seeks a People Partner for the BBRC, who will join the People Area and report to the People Area Director. The People Partner will serve as the primary reference in people management for BBRC teams.Main ResponsibilitiesPeople Management Strategy- Design, develop and implement people‑management policies in collaboration with the People Area Management, ensuring alignment with BBRC strategy and culture.- Act as a reference for assigned BBRC areas to ensure compliance with People Area processes.- Promote and adapt talent attraction and retention projects in the assigned areas.- Participate in defining strategic priorities, propose improvement actions, and lead implementation and monitoring.- Anticipate staffing needs, cover future vacancies and establish career and professional development plans.- Work with People Area Management to review, monitor and improve the remuneration policy and development plan, ensuring consistency with classification, career evolution, recognition, internal equity, transparency and competitiveness.- Support teams in change processes and energize participation spaces to foster a healthy, committed work environment.- Identify, define and analyze indicators and KPIs related to the area (turnover, satisfaction, candidate‑per‑selection, etc.).- Participate in cross‑functional people‑management projects and act as a reference both within the BBRC and, when necessary, in other organization areas.Coordination with the rest of the Area- Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of people‑management processes (onboarding, registrations, terminations, hiring, etc.) in collaboration with specialists, adapting them to the needs of the area.- Attend to, respond to or refer inquiries or incidents from the area (payroll, contracts, new hires, terminations, leaves, sick leave, schedules, holidays, etc.).- Act as a reference and facilitator, promoting consistency, quality and continuous improvement in recruitment, integration and management of the professional life cycle experience.Talent Selection, Attraction and Retention- Design necessary profiles with functional managers and people‑management, planning talent acquisition.- Coordinate and support selection, incorporation, welcome, induction and onboarding, ensuring a positive, equitable experience aligned with Foundation values.- Actively participate in interviews, internal promotion processes and strategic hiring decisions.- Ensure talent retention by identifying potential dissatisfaction or risk situations and promoting loyalty initiatives.- Analyze data and indicators related to attraction and retention and propose continuous improvement actions.Training and Development- Identify training, learning and skills development needs in the area.- Participate in cross‑functional development projects.- Lead and coordinate the development assessment process, aligning it with the competency model and BBRC strategic objectives.- Analyze assessment results to highlight improvement areas and development opportunities.- Monitor resulting development plans and provide a cross‑cutting perspective for talent decision‑making.- Co‑design specific career itineraries for BBRC teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Organization, Positions, Professional Evaluation and Classification, and Compensation- Design and update job descriptions for the area, aligning them with organizational evolution and needs.- Lead job evaluation and professional classification, ensuring transparency, fairness and consistency, in line with the remuneration policy.- Identify and update career development stages of staff, coordinating with the Talent Management Committee and applying mechanisms for remuneration changes.- Participate in the Talent Management Committee, providing data, context and criteria for development, projection and classification decisions.Internal Relations and Communication- Promote, coordinate or participate in communication of cross‑cutting people‑management projects.- Act as a strategic representative of the People Area, connecting with BBRC areas to identify emerging needs and improvement opportunities.- Detect and channel initiatives, concerns or proposals from staff to improve work environment and well‑being culture.- Promote fluid, transparent and bidirectional communication with all Foundation and BBRC professionals.- Participate in committees, task forces and work teams related to communication and mission transmission.- Coordinate actions with the Internal Communications team for content creation and dissemination.- Design and facilitate information sessions, dialogue spaces and meetings with staff to communicate results, decisions and improvements, gathering concerns and proposals.Required Training and Experience- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Law or other Humanities;
