Perivia is a new life sciences strategy consultancy, founded in 2025, providing strategy support to pharmaceutical companies. We support our clients' journey from preclinical drug development right through to commercialization and loss of exclusivity. Responsibilities The role involves supporting senior leadership to provide a consistently premium service to clients. Key tasks include, but are not limited to: competitive intelligence gathering, secondary and primary research, report writing, slide crafting, meeting minute taking, and international congress attendance (possible). As a new company and small team, it is essential that the chosen candidate have a strong appetite to learn (including autonomously), is self-organized, can thrive in uncertain/fast-changing or stressful work situations (these are typically temporary), and brings charisma and a positive attitude to both internal and external relationships. Qualifications Essential: Minimum BSc in a biology subject (e.g., biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, pharmacology, pharmacy, biomedical science), including strong understanding of pharmacology Essential: Prior full-time work experience (>1 year) outside of a university lab following undergrad Essential: Fluent C2 business written and spoken English - we may consider very high C1 English. This is critical and will be assessed in the first interview. In addition to English level, it is critical that the candidate have good speaking skills, with the ability to share ideas in a logical, smooth format. Essential: Legally authorized to work in Spain (will also consider EU remote applicants) Essential: Strong work ethic and desire to build a career in consulting / pharma Preferred: existing consulting experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry Preferred: existing strategy and/or competitive intelligence experience Prefered: Strong powerpoint and writing skills Preferred: Solid understanding of drug development Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills Attention to detail Self-organization, time management, diligent tracking of tasks, and excellent listening/communication skills Resilience / level-headedness, constructive positive attitude, and hunger to learn Ability to explain complex topics in a concise and easy-to-understand manner - both verbally and written
