We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Plant Manager to lead our single-crystal diamond singulation operations in Zaragoza, Spain. We need a leader capable of optimizing production, ensuring the safety of our team, and guaranteeing plant profitability while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will hire a team of engineers, technicians, operators, line managers, and supporting staff to successfully operate this new foundry. Responsibilities Lead and oversee day-to-day operations (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering) to ensure volume, cost, and quality targets are met. Present monthly KPIs to senior management and define the long-term strategy for plant capacity and modernization. \"Zero Accident\" environment, ensuring strict compliance with all safety, health, and environmental Spanish regulations. Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing methodologies to minimize waste and optimize OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Lead, develop, and motivate the workforce (from shop floor to middle management), fostering a positive work environment and managing labor relations. Manage the annual operations budget to maximize profitability and reduce operational costs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field with 7+ years of experience in industrial machinery, semiconductor equipment, or high-tech equipment assembly environments and 3+ years of people-management experience in production, assembly, or technical operations. Must be fluent in English. Expertise in lean manufacturing processes and in business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operation, manufacturing process, etc.). Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Experience in working with a multinational team is highly desirable. €80,000 - €100,000 a year Diamond Foundry believes in supporting our employees from the workplace to their personal and home life.
