No /p h3Offer Description /h3 pThe project is entitled “Opening new paths towards biomarkers of brain function” (NewPaths). The IP of the project are Dr. Jordi Vilaplana and Dr. Carme Pelegrí. The research group is formed by the 2 IP, one associate professor, one tenure‑eligible lecturer and 3 PhD students. The functions of the hired candidate will be: experimental design, conducting the experiments, data analysis, processing and interpretation of the obtained data, drawing the relevant conclusions, and writing the results report or relevant publications. /p pThe candidate must have experience in the field of biomedical research, particularly in the study of neurodegenerative diseases and their biomarkers, and the glymphatic system. /p pThe candidate should also be experienced in disseminating experimental results, especially through presentations at international conferences and publications in indexed scientific journals. /p h3Specific Requirements /h3 ul liPhD in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification. /li liKnowledge of immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence techniques in brain tissue sections and cryostat sections of CSF sediment. /li liKnowledge of chemical labeling techniques. /li liProficiency in office software, with a solid command of Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). /li liKnowledge of statistical software such as IBM SPSS. /li liHigh level of proficiency in Catalan and English. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liCatalan – Excellent /li liEnglish – Excellent /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 h3Eligibility criteria /h3 ul liSuitability of the CV for the position (maximum 20 points) /li liPhD in the specialty field (maximum 30 points).
