ppbSupport the reputation of a leading asset manager across Europe /b /p pThis role focuses on strengthening the organisation’s reputation across European media, with particular responsibility for day‑to‑day activity in Spain. Working within the European Media Relations team and closely with colleagues across Corporate Affairs, the PR Manager will help shape how the business is represented in key markets and ensure accurate, timely and proactive communication with journalists and external stakeholders. /p pThe position offers the opportunity to work in an international environment, contribute to high‑profile media activity and support the delivery of a coordinated communications strategy across multiple countries. It is well suited to someone who is confident with media engagement, comfortable working across borders and able to identify strong stories within a complex financial environment. /p h3Main responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the development and delivery of the media strategy across Continental Europe, supporting projects that highlight the organisation’s investment capabilities and broader business priorities. /li liLead day‑to‑day media relations activity in Spain, working with the Senior Media Relations Manager and the local PR agency to identify stories, develop news angles and engage with trade, regional, national and broadcast media. /li liBuild strong relationships with journalists and key media stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely communication. /li liWork with internal teams to identify opportunities and risks, advising on media considerations and supporting the management of reputational issues. /li liSupport the development of proactive corporate campaigns across European markets. /li liDraft press releases, briefings, QA documents and other communication materials. /li liOrganise and attend interviews, visits and events as required. /li liAssist in assessing the wider impact of emerging issues and help develop appropriate responses. /li liRespond to media enquiries and prepare clear lines to take. /li liWork with colleagues across Corporate Affairs to deliver pan‑European projects and support wider departmental activity. /li liReview media coverage and contribute to evaluation of campaign performance and KPIs. /li /ul h3Knowledge, skills and experience /h3 ul liExperience in day‑to‑day media relations and confidence engaging with journalists in person, by phone and in writing. /li liStrong communication skills and the ability to draft clear, accurate and engaging content. /li liFluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to translate short pieces of content. /li liAbility to understand and communicate complex financial and organisational information. /li liJournalistic skills, including identifying stories and drafting longer‑form content. /li liWell organised, able to manage multiple projects and maintain strong attention to detail. /li liUnderstanding of media measurement and evaluation. /li liComfortable adapting to changing priorities and working in a fast‑moving environment. /li liStrong relationship‑building skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different countries. /li liKnowledge of financial services or asset management is helpful, though not essential. /li liExperience working in an international team or environment is desirable. /li /ul pOur purpose is to create important and enduring relationships.
