Overview
In this role you will lead project-based purchasing to meet quality, cost and delivery targets. You will work with project managers and cross-functional teams to define sourcing plans, manage RFQs, and select suppliers. You’ll oversee risk and technical management, ensuring contingency plans and supplier alignment. You will drive early purchasing decisions, maintain SAP/PuMa data, and support a smooth transfer to serial production. This is a hands-on role at Valeo’s Martos plant, with a focus on innovation and responsible, scalable sourcing.

ResponsabilidadesLead purchasing activities from project kickoff to SOPDefine sourcing plans and manage RFQ process (PuMa/Auctions)Select suppliers based on strategy and bundle opportunitiesCoordinate design reviews (S-VRF) for supplier alignmentIdentify critical parts and assess supplier risks; develop contingency plansEscalate roadblocks to keep targets on trackPilot the project purchasing index and drive action plans to meet targetsMaintain PuMa and SAP (Early Open Orders) accuracy and proper recording of milestones and contractsCoordinate with Project Managers, Segment Leaders, and Productivity Buyers on localization and global platform needsManage pre-sourcing for advanced projects while protecting Intellectual Property through safeguards
