This project forms part of our Power Systems portfolio, which includes transmission, substation, wind, solar, and battery projects. Our team is focused on delivering complex, high‑quality engineering solutions that meet client and regulatory standards while driving innovation and sustainability.About the OpportunityAs Project Manager, Engineering you will lead the end‑to‑end design delivery of the transmission line project. Reporting to the Project Engineering Director, you will manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, oversee design programs, and ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage risks, and champion constructability and value engineering strategies to deliver high‑quality, constructible outcomes.Key AccountabilitiesDesign Delivery & Program ManagementDevelop and maintain the design program, deliverables register, and resourcing to meet milestones.Drive progress via structured planning, forecasting, and earned‑value tracking.Lead transmission line design delivery.Oversee reviews, quality control, and technical assurance.Coordinate with civil, structural, geotech, and substation teams.Manage interfaces with construction, procurement, and client engineering.Manage design scope, variations, and claims per contract.Track change notices, support EOTs, and work with commercial leads.Required Skills and CompetenciesDegree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering15+ years in engineering delivery with leadership experienceChartered status (CPEng, NER, RPEQ) or ability to obtainProven experience on transmission or substation projectsStrong stakeholder and contract management skillsACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
