Overview
In this role you will lead all quality assurance and control activities across construction, erection, and commissioning of major industrial projects. You will coordinate quality across multiple sites and interfaces with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance. You will drive NCRs, corrective actions, and process improvements to support ambitious steelmaking and decarbonization initiatives. ResponsabilidadesImplement and maintain the Project Quality Management SystemCoordinate quality activities throughout construction, erection, and commissioningManage quality inspectors, third-party inspection agencies, and subcontractorsReview and approve quality documentation, inspection reports, and proceduresManage non-conformities (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality improvementsInterface with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders regarding quality matters
Requisitos principalesDegree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualificationMinimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management within industrial construction projectsExperience in steelmaking facilities, EAF plants, rolling mills, metallurgical plants, or other heavy industrial sectorsStrong knowledge of international quality standards and construction quality management systemsFluent EnglishWillingness to travel internationally and work on project sitesstakeholder communicationleadership and team managementproblem-solving and analytical thinkingProject Quality Management SystemNCR management and corrective action processesquality documentation review and approval
