We are currently accepting applications for the above mentioned position. This is a unique opportunity for junior researchers with a recent PhD degree in Physics or related fields to join one of DIPC’s high-profile research teams. The roleWe are seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the group of Adolfo G. Grushin at the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) to work on the theory of the interplay between disorder, topology, and superconductivity. The position focuses on interconnected research directions:- the fate of topology and superconductivity in non-crystalline (amorphous, quasicrystalline, moiré) systems, and their possible experimental detection through transport and optical responses- the interplay between disorder and many-body topological order, including fractionalization, anyonic excitations, and topological entanglement in disordered settingsThe position includes funding for travel to conferences and scientific meetings.Desired background & competencesCandidates with experience or strong interest in any of the methods applied to the topics in the description are welcome, with special emphasis on:- transport calculations and simulations- tensor network methods for topologically ordered phases- machine learning and neural network approaches to quantum matter- nonlinear optical responses as probes of topology- quantum information perspectives on topological phasesThe addition of novel methodologies and research directions to the group is particularly encouraged.#J-18808-Ljbffr
