ppAs a Rigging Artist you will work closely with a variety of departments including RD, Art, Modelling, Layout and Animation, to develop, implement, maintain and support character and prop deformation rigs for use by the Crowds, Layout and Animation teams. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelops and maintains procedural rig components with a specific focus on deformation, using custom tools. /liliFollows a brief to produce complex production ready rig deformations. /liliWorks with Animators to aid with deformation rigs to provide a broad range of motion. /liliSupports rigs as they move through the pipeline and provides additional deformation fixes as needed. /liliResponsible for building body, facial and mechanical rig systems to be used by other departments, such as Crowds, Animation and Layout. /liliTroubleshoots and fixes rig issues. /liliCollects artistic feedback and fine tunes rig behavior. /liliWorks within the pipeline and rigging standards. /liliKeeps up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment. /liliDeliver on time following Production quality standards. /liliCollaborates with other team members, when necessary. /liliFollows the Supervisor’s, Lead’s and Senior’s guidance and support. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulli3-5 years in VFX or animation industries. /lili1+ years in the animation industry is desirable. /liliStrong artistic and technical rigging skills. /liliExperience within a character pipeline. /liliExperience using Maya in a production environment. /liliFamiliarity with sculpting tools in Body, Face and Shot-Finaling. /liliSolid understanding of the principles of animation. /liliAnatomical knowledge of facial muscles and their kinematics functions. /liliBasic Python scripting knowledge following coding standards. /liliBasic English level. /liliSpanish desirable. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
