By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics—working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.This Position reports to:Senior Project Lead Engineer Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll be an integral part of a high-performance team leading the implementation of ABB’s cutting-edge AMR product catalogue — Flexley Tug, Flexley Mover, and Flexley Stack — across diverse client environments. From technical upgrades to full-scale deployments, you’ll be at the heart of projects that shape the future of intralogistics.You’ll work both at ABB’s facilities in Madrigalejo del Monte, Burgos (Spain) and on-site with clients across Spain and internationally (approx. 40–50% travel), ensuring seamless execution and delivery of project milestones.Work model: #LI-hybridYou will be mainly accountable for:Supporting the definition, and development of system requirements, and ensuring alignment with safety, and quality standardsLeading validation and commissioning processes to guarantee successful system start-ups — on time, on budget, and with precisionDelivering results by executing project deliverables and maintaining clear, accurate, and timely documentation throughout the project lifecycleCollaborating cross-functionally with project managers, leading engineers, clients, and partners to resolve technical challenges both remotely and on-siteChampion safety by managing occupational risk and ensuring a safe working environment during all project phasesOwning your impact by contributing to risk assessments, work plans, and continuous improvement initiativesOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.Qualifications for the RoleFP Higher Degree / Vocational Schools or Engineering on Automatic Regulation and Control Systems or related fields (Industrial automation, Industrial electronics, Robotics…)Demonstrable experience of at least 1 year in customer commissioning activities and incident resolution (preferably with assistance experience abroad)A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelinesHigh level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologiesA collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skillsProfessional competence in general and technical English, both spoken and writtenWhat’s in it for you?We want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
