By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics.This Position reports to R&D; Department Lead.Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to create products, systems, services, or technologies for ABB’s business units. You will facilitate the end-to-end execution of one or more Research and Development projects, showcase your expertise by achieving associated milestones, targets, and desired outcomes.You will manage R&D roadmap projects under ABB's Phase & Gate model.Work modelThis role contributes to the R&D AMR GSC located in Burgos. Main stakeholders are the R&D team, Portfolio & Product Owners, Production Unit, and other areas within ABB Robotics.Key responsibilitiesPlanning, monitoring, and controlling progress on the plan to ensure achievement of commitments and targeted milestones.Identifying and managing interdependencies between projects and project-level constraints to realize specified benefits.Ensuring the team understands customer value in the projects, ensures customer satisfaction, and manages stakeholder expectations.Engaging stakeholders in defining customer value and integrating feedback into activities.Managing the project to achieve deliverables according to ABB Phase & Gate Model process.Qualifications for the roleExperienced in R&D project management, enjoys working with new technology teams and making project plans a reality for the robotics market.At least 2 years of experience as a project manager in R&D projects or similar characteristics.Degree in Industrial Engineering or Project Management.Sound knowledge of PMP, agile methodology, and the robotics or industrial market.Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project; desirable experience managing SAP.A solution‑focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.Fluent communication in English and Spanish.BenefitsCompany Mobile Phone: corporate phone without personal calls.Employee Parking.Benefits Platform: exclusive deals and discounts through our employee benefits portal.Learning & Training: wide range of learning opportunities to upskill and advance.Career Development: internal career advancement opportunities via Open Job Market.Flexible Work Practices.Well‑being Program: mental health support and wellness activities.At ABB, we have a clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions: gender, LGBTQ+, abilities, ethnicity, generations, etc. Together, we welcome and celebrate individual differences.
