Overview Senior Data Strategist responsible for shaping how data is leveraged across a multinational FMCG company, from collection to activation and measurement, across both B2C and B2B ecosystems. This role supports markets and central teams in defining holistic, value-driven data strategies, ensuring data is not only properly structured and governed, but also translated into actionable insights that fuel CRM, CX, and business growth. Acting as a key strategic partner to marketing, CRM, and digital teams, the Data Strategy Consultant ensures data becomes a core enabler of decision-making, personalization, and performance, while aligning with broader business and customer experience strategies. Responsibilities End-to-End Data Strategy Define and support the implementation of holistic data strategies across the full data lifecycle: collection, acquisition, qualification, activation, and measurement. Ensure data ecosystems are designed to be actionable, scalable, and aligned with business and CRM objectives. Identify gaps and opportunities in current data infrastructures and propose strategic improvements. Strategic Recommendations (B2C & B2B) Develop data-led strategic recommendations tailored to both B2C and B2B contexts. Ensure alignment with business priorities, CX Strategy, and market and brands specific constraints. Translate complex data topics into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders. Key Strategic Deliverables Create and maintain core data strategy assets, including: o Data guidebooks and frameworks o Transparency and governance documentation o Strategic roadmaps and capability models Provide clarity on how data should be collected, used, governed, and activated across markets. Data-Driven Use Case Development Identify, design, and lead high-value data use cases, from ideation to proof-of-concept. Validate feasibility, business impact, and scalability of initiatives before broader rollout. Support markets in transitioning successful pilots into scaled, operational solutions. Measurement & Performance Enablement Define measurement frameworks and KPIs to assess the impact of data initiatives. Ensure consistency and comparability of performance metrics across markets. Enable a culture of test-and-learn and continuous optimization through data. Collaboration & Strategic Enablement Partner with CRM, CX, Marketing, and Tech teams to ensure data strategies are effectively embedded into business and experience initiatives. Work closely with strategic roles (e.g., CX and BX) to ensure data enables personalization, audience understanding, and journey orchestration. Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding. Support markets in building data maturity and strategic capabilities over time. Qualifications Senior experience in data strategy, data consulting, or analytics roles within complex, multi-market organizations. Proven ability to define and activate end-to-end data strategies across the full data lifecycle, from collection and governance to activation and measurement. Strong experience developing data-led strategic recommendations for both B2C and B2B ecosystems. Demonstrated ability to translate complex data topics into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders. Experience designing and leading high-value data use cases, from ideation to proof-of-concept and scalable deployment. Solid understanding of data-driven enablement for CRM, CX, personalization, and business decision-making. Experience defining measurement frameworks, KPIs, and performance models across markets. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, acting as a strategic bridge between business, marketing, CRM, CX, and tech teams. Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
