We're partnering with a leading international apparel manufacturer to recruit an experiencedSenior Womenswear Designerto join their newly established Barcelona office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven designer who understands the European retail market and enjoys creating trend-led collections that translate seamlessly into production.
Working closely with international buyers and global manufacturing teams, you'll play a key role in developing seasonal collections for some of Europe's leading fashion retailers.
What you'll be doing…Design seasonal womenswear collections across multiple product categories, including dresses, tops, bottoms and coordinated collections.
Interpret buyer briefs and transform them into commercially successful collections.
Present concepts and seasonal ranges confidently to customers and buying teams.
Develop trend-driven yet commercially viable products that align with target customers and price architecture.
Work closely with product development and sampling teams in India to ensure accurate execution of your designs.
Review prototypes, fit samples and salesman samples, providing clear technical and aesthetic feedback.
Collaborate with technical teams to resolve garment construction, fit and finishing details.
Travel periodically to India to support development and sampling activities.
What we are looking for…Degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline.
10+ years' experience designing womenswear for leading European retailers.
Strong commercial awareness with an excellent eye for trends.
Experience working directly with international buyers.
Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, washes, prints and embellishments.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and modern design technologies, including 3D design software and AI-assisted design tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple seasons and work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
