We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and service-oriented Senior Estate Manager to oversee the full operation of a large luxury private property located near Barcelona. This role is responsible for maintaining impeccable standards year-round, coordinating all vendors and seasonal staff, and ensuring a seamless, high-level experience during periods of family and guest use (primarily the summer season). The Senior Estate Manager will work closely with the property owners, the family office, and trusted external partners to manage budgets, maintenance planning, compliance, and daily operations — ensuring privacy, discretion, and excellence across every aspect of the property. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all maintenance and service activities to ensure the property remains in pristine condition year-round Develop and manage seasonal operational plans for guest-use periods and off-season care Prepare, manage, and control the annual operating budget, including vendor contracts, cost tracking, and service quality Select, supervise, and coordinate external vendors and seasonal staff (housekeeping, gardening, pool, catering, security, technical services) Prepare the property for arrivals and support guest stays, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and prompt resolution of any issues Ensure full compliance with local regulations, permits, safety, and security requirements Act as the main operational point of contact for the owners and family office Provide regular reporting and proactively propose improvements to efficiency, cost control, and overall property operations and experience Requirements Proven experience as a General Manager, Estate Manager, or in senior operations roles within luxury hospitality, property, or private residences (+3 Years). Strong technical understanding of property maintenance, vendor management, and facility operations. Excellent organizational and budgeting skills, with the ability to manage multi-vendor contracts and seasonal workflows. High service orientation with a discreet, professional, and guest-focused mindset. Strong communication skills in Spanish and English (Catalan is a plus). Ability to work independently, solve problems under pressure, and anticipate owner and guest needs. Familiarity with local compliance requirements, safety regulations, and contractor oversight in Spain.
