About The RoleAs a Senior QA & Reliability Engineer, you will be at the heart of Swiss Re’s cloud transformation journey—embedding quality and reliability into every layer of our Azure cloud platform. This is not a siloed QA role. You will think holistically, connecting testing, monitoring, and observability as interconnected disciplines that drive real engineering excellence. You will work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment, partnering with platform, product, and delivery teams to ensure our cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and built to last.Your Main ResponsibilitiesThis role requires a curious, driven, and collaborative engineer who takes pride in building systems that are not only functional but truly dependable. You bring a holistic mindset to reliability—thinking about quality, monitoring, and testing as interconnected disciplines rather than silos. You communicate clearly, thrive in cross‑functional environments, and are energized by solving complex technical challenges with real business impact.Define and execute test strategies (integration, performance, reliability testing)Build and maintain automated test frameworks and CI/CD qualityEnsure end‑to‑end functional and non‑functional validation (NFRs)Drive test coverage, defect analysis, and root cause resolutionEstablish quality metrics and reporting frameworksProven experience with Microsoft Azure—including Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and related observability and reliability services.Strong background in reliability or quality engineering—with hands‑on experience designing and executing testing strategies (integration, performance, chaos/resilience testing) in cloud‑native environments.Solid expertise in monitoring and observability—including the design of loggin
