What is it like to be a Senior Safety Specialist at DHV Technology? As a Senior Safety Specialist at DHV Technology, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards across all company activities. You will identify potential risks, define and implement preventive measures, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support operations, manufacturing, and engineering to maintain safe working conditions while aligning with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Responsibilities As a Senior Safety Specialist at DHV Technology, your main responsibilities will include: Collaborate with the External Prevention Service (SPA) in managing occupational risk prevention within the organization. Propose and monitor the implementation of measures for risk control and reduction. Act as a liaison between the organization and the External Prevention Service. Collaborate closely with the External Prevention Service. Propose preventive and corrective improvements. Manage documentation and maintain occupational risk prevention (PRL) records. Manage personal protective equipment (PPE). Coordinate business activities with subcontractors. Conduct task inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide training and information to employees on occupational risk prevention. Promote best practices in prevention, health, and hygiene. Foster a strong preventive safety culture. Education and Requirements To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are required: A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Written and spoken fluency in English. Candidates should possess the following technical competencies: Advanced knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and regulations. Familiarity with safety management systems and relevant tools, KPIs, and reporting practices. Solid understanding of industrial and manufacturing environments and associated safety risks. Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementation of control measures. Knowledge of incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions. Stakeholder management and clear technical communication across multidisciplinary teams. Experience in delivering safety training and promoting safety awareness. Proficiency in safety documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance records.
