Experteer Overview
In this Senior Scientist role, you will design, prototype, and validate agent-enabled cheminformatics workflows to address high-value discovery questions. You will partner with medicinal chemistry, ISD/CADD, biology, and data science teams to translate questions into rigorous, addressable workflows and reusable capabilities. You’ll evaluate agent behavior, define success criteria, and drive adoption of agentic methods in discovery environments. The position combines scientific rigor with cross-functional collaboration to accelerate drug discovery and deliver measurable value.

• Build partnerships with chemists, ISD/CADD, biologists, DMPK, and data scientists to identify opportunities in discovery projects.
• Translate complex scientific questions into well-defined, auditable workflows with explicit evidence, assumptions, and decisions.
• Design meaningful use cases, datasets, and success criteria for rigorous evaluation.
• Evaluate agent outputs for scientific validity, reproducibility, and relevance to discovery decisions.
• Capture scientific insights from early applications to guide further development and broader adoption.
• Develop and test agentic prototypes in realistic discovery settings, leveraging data, models, and coordination tools.
• Own defined agentic prototypes or workstreams, set fit-for-purpose success measures, and ensure value delivery.
• Support adoption by integrating capabilities into familiar scientific work environments and training users.
• Lead scientific design, prototyping, and validation of agent-enabled workflows and collaborate across teams for production implementation.
Responsabilidades
• PhD or equivalent substantial experience in cheminformatics, computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of compound design and predictive models across disciplines.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience building automated workflows or scientific applications.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development for reliable scientific software or workflows.
• Ability to work independently in an emerging area and collaborate across scientific, data science, and technology teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
