Site Leader – Industrial Manufacturing
Barcelona area (Spain)We are partnering with aleading multinational industrial companyin the chemicals sector to appoint aSite Leaderfor a key manufacturing facility in Spain.This is ahigh-impact leadership rolewith full responsibility for site operations, team performance, and execution of business strategy within a complex, fast-paced industrial environment.The Opportunity
As Site Leader, you will:
Lead the site with a strong focus on safety, ethics, and operational excellence
Liaise between the Business and the plant to ensure communication is cascading down and up
Define and execute the annual operating plan (AOP) aligned with business objectives
Drive performance across HSE, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Asset Efficiency
Build, coach, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams
Lead CAPEX planning and execution, including investment and expansion projects in agreement with the global business, continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, procurement, and engineering
Partner with commercial and business teams to support growth and customer delivery within the scope of the plant and in line with the business supported.Your Profile
Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or similar
10+ years in manufacturing leadership roles within industrial or chemical environments
Proven experience managing complex manufacturing sites or operations
Strong people leadership and team development capabilities
Experience in CAPEX, continuous improvement, and operational excellence frameworks
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluent in Spanish and English (Catalan is a plus)
Comfortable in a matrix, international environment
