Overview As a Spa Therapist at Fairmont La Hacienda, you are a true ambassador of the resort experience, providing professional, welcoming and engaging service to guests. Responsibilities Consistently offer professional, welcoming, and engaging service. Perform spa treatments according to established standards, with technical precision and guest communication for specific concerns. Adapt music, voice tone, lighting, privacy, and safety to each guest's needs. Advise clients on the spa’s treatment programs. Prepare treatment rooms to standards and ensure necessary stock is in place. Recommend follow-up treatments and products after each appointment and guide guests in their choices. Promote and sell spa products. Maintain impeccable hygiene and cleanliness in all treatment areas. Participate in daily briefings and follow up on guest requests. Complete daily treatment reports and log special requests in the communication book. Be fully knowledgeable about all treatments and products offered at the spa. Complete daily checklists for treatment zones. Attend departmental meetings and actively contribute. Promote the spa’s services and image. Assist other spa departments when therapy activity is low. Apply and uphold both technical and emotional LQA standards. Commit to service quality, discretion, and complete honesty. Maintain a professional attitude, smile, and remain calm at all times. Comply with ergonomic, health & safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations. Respect departmental and company policies, procedures, and service standards. Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role. Fluent in Spanish and English. Knowledge of a third language is an asset. Certified diploma in massage therapy and aesthetics. Excellent personal presentation. Strong sense of hospitality and sales ability. Composed under pressure (handles guest complaints and emergencies). Organized and detail-oriented. Skilled in various massage and beauty treatment techniques. Fitness knowledge will be favorably valued. Computer literacy is a plus (booking systems, payment processes, etc.). Knowledge of safety procedures. Able to take initiative and show flexibility. Adaptable and responsive to guest needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
