We are looking for an exceptional Senior Strategic Account Executive to lead a small portfolio of the world’s most strategic enterprise customers. This role goes beyond traditional enterprise sales. We are seeking a senior executive with the ability to build trusted relationships at C-Level , shape long-term business transformation strategies, and position Genesys as a strategic partner in our customers’ AI and Customer Experience journey. The successful candidate combines executive presence, commercial excellence, strategic vision and deep understanding of the evolving AI landscape to help customers redefine how they engage with their customers and employees. You will own executive relationships, orchestrate global account strategies, identify transformational opportunities, and lead highly complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements that deliver significant business value. What You’ll Do: Executive Strategic Leadership Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships at senior business executives. Become a strategic partner to your customers by understanding their corporate strategy, business priorities, competitive landscape and digital transformation agenda. Influence executive decision‑making by connecting business outcomes with AI‑driven customer experience transformation. Position Genesys as a long‑term innovation partner rather than a technology vendor. Strategic Account Development Own and develop a portfolio of 1–5 global strategic accounts with full executive accountability. Build multi‑year account strategies aligned with customer business objectives and enterprise transformation initiatives. Identify whitespace opportunities across business units, geographies and executive stakeholders. Deeply understand each customer’s organization, operating model, investment priorities and decision‑making processes. Drive sustainable revenue growth through expansion, transformation and strategic new initiatives. AI & Digital Transformation Leadership Demonstrate a strong understanding of the evolving AI ecosystem, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, Conversational AI, Automation, Knowledge Management and AI‑powered Customer Experience. Help customers understand how AI can transform customer engagement, employee productivity and operational efficiency. Lead strategic discussions around innovation, responsible AI adoption, automation and future operating models. Connect emerging technology trends with measurable business outcomes and executive priorities. Complex Enterprise Sales Lead highly consultative, multi‑million‑dollar enterprise sales engagements across complex global organizations. Develop executive account and opportunity strategies leveraging MEDDPICC and value‑selling methodologies. Generate qualified pipeline through proactive executive engagement, strategic networking and targeted business development. Orchestrate global cross‑functional teams including Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Professional Services, Executive Leadership, Partners and Alliances. Navigate sophisticated procurement, governance and executive approval processes. Ecosystem Leadership Build executive relationships across strategic partners including AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow and the broader enterprise technology ecosystem. Leverage partner networks to accelerate customer transformation initiatives and identify new business opportunities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver differentiated customer value. Customer Success Mindset Ensure seamless transition from sales to delivery while maintaining executive sponsorship throughout the customer lifecycle. Continue engaging with executive stakeholders post-sale to maximize adoption, business value realization and long‑term strategic growth. Champion customer success as the foundation for sustainable expansion and executive advocacy. What we are looking for: Experience 15+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience, including significant experience managing Global or Strategic Accounts. Proven track record selling transformational enterprise software solutions into Fortune 500 or equivalent organizations. Demonstrated success engaging and influencing C-Level executives and Boards. Consistent overachievement against large annual sales quotas. Experience leading global, complex, multi‑year enterprise sales cycles. Strong background in strategic account planning and executive relationship management. Business & Technology Expertise Deep understanding of Customer Experience, Digital Transformation and Enterprise Software. Strong knowledge of the AI landscape, including emerging trends and enterprise adoption strategies. Ability to translate technology innovation into strategic business value. Experience working within cloud ecosystems and strategic alliances including AWS, Salesforce and ServiceNow. Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to build compelling executive business cases. MBA or equivalent business education is considered an advantage. Languages Fluent Spanish and English. Additional European languages are a plus. Travel Willingness to travel internationally (approx 20%) as required to support executive customer engagement.
