About the RoleThis role focuses on providing technical support and ensuring the proper functioning of industrial automation systems. You will diagnose issues, assist with installations and maintenance, and work directly with clients to guide them in using their systems effectively. It’s a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with automation technologies, and supporting customers in the field.Revise detenidamente toda la documentación de la solicitud antes de hacer clic en el botón de solicitar al final de esta descripción.Responsibilities:Provide remote and on-site technical support (when necessary) for installed industrial automation systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot failures in automated systems and industrial equipment (PLCs, HMIs, sensors, among others).Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.Assist in the installation, commissioning, and configuration of automation systems.Work closely with customers, providing guidance on proper system usage and troubleshooting.Ensure deadlines are met and the quality of services provided.Identify opportunities for improvement in existing automation systems.Prepare technical reports and documentation of the services performed.Conduct technical training sessions for internal teams and customers.Participate in rotating shifts and on-call duties, including weekends and night coverage, to ensure service continuity and incident resolution.Requirements:Bachelor's degree and/or technical degree in Mechatronics, Control and Automation, or related fields.Previous experience in industrial automation and technical support.Knowledge of control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, sensors, etc.).Familiarity with industrial networks (Modbus, Profibus, EtherNet/IP, etc.).Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving technical issues in automated systems.Good communication skills and ability to work directly with customers.Availability to travel and flexibility to work at different installation sites.Desired knowledge in PLC programming and automation systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).Must have own car and valid driver's license Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionEthnic and cultural diversity, gender equity, and the inclusion of people with disabilities are essential to creating a workplace where everyone can truly be themselves. xcskxlj In line with our social commitment, at Adasoft we strive to generate equal opportunities that allow us to attract, develop, and retain talent regardless of gender, background, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
