Sustainability Assistant Date: Jan 22, 2026 Location: Sant Just Desvern, B, ES, 08960 City : Sant Just Desvern State : Barcelona (ES-B) Country : Spain (ES) Requisition Number : 43336 We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Assistant to join our team within Bunge EMEA. In this role, you will manage the daily activities related to sustainability transactions for Bunge and our Joint Venture entities. Working closely with, and supporting the Sustainability Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance of sustainability certifications and supporting audits. Your expertise will be vital in facilitating seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders across Western Europe (Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Italy & BISA). Note: you are ideally located in Barcelona to obtain this job. Main Accountabilities Sustainability Transaction & Data Management: Manage the maintenance of Sustainability Mass Balances, databases, and files. Ensure the accurate issuance of Sustainability Documents and review the form and content of documents issued by suppliers to ensure full compliance. Audit Support & Compliance: Support the preparation and execution of internal and external sustainability audits to maintain certifications (such as ISCC, 2BSvs, RTRS, Proterra). You will also assist with new certification processes and ensure accurate GHG CO2 emission calculations. Stakeholder Communication & Process Support: Act as a main point of contact for BISA stakeholders (internal and external) regarding sustainability issues. You will support the implementation of new processes and manage the processing of supplier invoices related to the department. Knowledge & Skills Sustainability Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with sustainability voluntary schemes (e.g., ISCC, 2BSvs, RTRS, Proterra, National Schemes) and current legislation (RED Directive) is highly valued. Organizational & Communication Ability: Strong ability to organize and prioritize within a multi-tasking environment. You possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with commercial teams, industrial execution, suppliers, and certification bodies. Detail-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail to ensure zero non-conformities during audits and accurate documentation issuance. Technical Skills MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel proficiency (as well as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). SAP experience is highly desirable. Education & Experience Good knowledge of written and spoken Spanish & English (mandatory). Any other languages will be a plus. Proven ability to work in a team and flexibility to travel within the country or outside if required. Prior experience or training in sustainability schemes is a distinct plus.
