The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the operational production schedule, ensuring full alignment with the Master Production Plan (MPS) and program requirements. This role plays a key part in balancing workload through load‑capacity control and prioritizing demands to ensure on‑time and on‑cost delivery.Responsibilities- Create and maintain short‑ and mid‑term production schedules for assembly and associated materials.- Develop feasible schedule scenarios that consider high level milestones dates, current production status, backlog, capacity (manpower, machines, materials), and quality or technical constraints.- Ensure the Master Production Schedule (MPS) routines.- Provide clear communication on schedule status, risks, and recovery plans.- Prepare and analyze data for key performance indicators (KPIs) and planning adherence reports (N1 to N4 levels).- Generate dashboards, workload/manpower balance reports, Work In Progress (WIP) analysis, and planning adherence indicators.- Identify deviations vs. baseline, propose and implement corrective actions.- Ensure the availability of all resources required for production execution: components, industrial means, work orders, etc.- Monitor and support work order management and material need planning, including critical path analysis and recovery actions.- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure material availability according to plan.- Act as the main interface between production teams, high‑level planning, and the Supply Chain.- Contribute to the optimization of IT scheduling and tracking tools.- Support process improvements to increase planning accuracy, production stability, and delivery performance.Qualifications / Skills- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).- 1–3 years of experience in Production Planning / Scheduling.- Fluent English, both written and spoken.- Knowledge of planning tools and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international, and cross‑functional environment.- Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.Benefits- Vacation days plus additional days‑off along the year.- Attractive salary.- Collective transport service in some sites.- On‑site facilities (free canteen, kindergarten, medical office).- Possibility to collaborate in different social and corporate social responsibility initiatives.- Excellent upskilling opportunities and great development prospects in a multicultural environment.Equal Opportunity and Recruitment InformationAirbus is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment.
