Our utilities client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior / Lead Technical Business Analyst to join their core Tech function.This senior role will lead technical and functional business analysis + change management activities, ensuring corporate applications are fit for purpose, aligned to business strategy, and successfully adopted across the organisation.You will manage a small team of BAs, guiding high-quality requirements definition, solution design, and continuous improvement across a complex application landscape. Working closely with senior stakeholders, enterprise architecture, and external partners, you will play a key role in delivering effective, well-governed technology change.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of Business Analysts, ensuring excellence in requirements discovery, documentation, and solution designMaintain a holistic view of the application landscape, ensuring integration, alignment, and business fitDesign and deliver robust change management strategies to drive adoption and minimise disruptionLead stakeholder engagement, communications, and training for system changes and new implementationsContribute to application procurement by assessing functional suitability and vendor capabilitiesEnsure adherence to project governance, standards, and best practicesAct as a trusted bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultantsAbout YouDegree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or similarFluent in English and SpanishExtensive IT industry experience with a strong background in business analysisProven leadership in requirements gathering and solution design for enterprise applicationsStrong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and project governanceExperience with ERP, CRM, data platforms, or custom business systemsAbility to interrogate data (SQL) or APIs (Postman), and / or do basic PoC work in PythonCertifications in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Change Management are desirableJob SpecificsOnsite Working - Moncloa-Aravaca. Initially 4 days per weekSalary : Up to €65,000 per annum (+ potential bonus - tbc)
