Position Overview
The Technical Buyer will drive and develop all procurement activities related to components for our battery and electrification technologies, with a focus on electrical/electronic components (PCBA, HV electrical distribution).
Responsibilities
Manage all purchases of electronic components, props, industrial products, work materials, supplies and other products or services.
Negotiate logistics and transport with providers for product distribution.
Support contract, price and terms negotiations with suppliers.
Ensure purchased products and materials comply with technical and quality specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet technical requirements.
Drive cost‑saving initiatives and identify alternative suppliers.
Identify and evaluate new strategic suppliers for key raw materials.
Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with suppliers.
Continuously assess suppliers’ capabilities, risks and performance to ensure supply continuity.
Standardise procurement processes and documents.
Create and manage the RFI/RFP/RFQ process.

Minimum Requirements
Advanced university degree in Engineering or Finance.
5 years of procurement experience for industrial components and materials (automotive, electronics, plastic parts, structural metals, PCBA, high‑voltage electrical distribution).
Extensive experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
Extensive negotiation experience with suppliers.
In‑depth knowledge of local, national and European markets.
Experience implementing improvements and standardisation of supply‑chain processes.
Previous experience in battery technology with a wide range of trading groups and both low and high‑value commodities (direct and indirect).
