Technical Lead / Europe / 3 month freelance contractYunoJuno has partnered with a Consultancy that is looking to hire aWeb Tech Leadon a freelance basis for an upcoming project.
Job Summary
The new Web Tech Lead will join the Activity Management team and will specifically focus on two applications called Planning and Monitoring Tool and Project and Activity Management (hereafter referred to as “PMT” and “PAM”).
The Web tech lead will receive a technical onboarding on the existing application and its integrated systems and will, based on the specifications, lead technical decisions. You will guide the technical direction of the FE & BE parts, ensuring scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. Lead and mentor team members, review code and enforce best practices are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise and Support:
Act as a technical expert, lead all decisions related to the design and implementation of new specifications, providing guidance and support to software developers and product owners.
Address technical challenges and facilitate problem-solving.
Contribute to story / feature readiness with technical specifications work.
Lead iteration level technical ceremonies (TOP, Security & Quality gates review).
Identify required Enablers / PoC and manage their execution when needed.
Attend meetings and be part of the discussion with other teams to identify, investigate and coordinate actions to implement new features.
Compliance and Review:
Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with established coding standards and software development methodologies.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Ensure that each release met the Quality and Security gates in time.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Service Management:
Resolve incidents (technical L2/L3)
Proactively identify areas for improvement.
Monitor system health.
Participate to non-functional tests campaign (i.e. Load testing / Connectivity tests/ DRP) and analyze performance metrics.
Prepare, oversee and if needed contribute to release deployments.
Training and Development:
Organize and lead training sessions & workshops for software developers.
Educate developers on the latest development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
Liaise with other internal technical teams when needed.
Collaborate actively with the Product Architects to maintain the product architectural runway and anticipate on PAM Architecture evolution.
Collaborate with the Product Architect to develop, implement, and maintain coding standards, software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, DevOps), and best practices.
Interacts with ICT Suppliers, Service Providers, or counterparts at client’s Partner.
Documentation:
Ensure the key technical documentation are regularly updated for proper product maintenance.
Required skills & Competencies
Technical:
Strong proficiency and proven experience with .NET 8/ 10 framework, ReactJS & microservices architecture, React JS & front-end development.
Strong understanding of:
Redis, for optimizing performance and ensuring data persistence
Apache Kafka, on how to implement it for real-time data pipelines, ensuring high throughput, fault tolerance, and scalability.
Mongo DB, for high-performance and scalable applications with flexible schema design
Hands-on experience with:
Linux commands and server management.
Kubernetes for container orchestration and OpenShift.
CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
A plus “Experience in low connectivity context”
Non-technical
Communication and Collaboration - The technical lead is offering support and guidance to the team, so it's important to be able to give clear instructions and set expectations. With effective written and verbal communication, you can ensure that the team understands their responsibilities. Adapting to the audience is also key to interact in an efficient manner with the functional team, keeping things simple and understandable for decision makers.

Familiarity with agile way of work (SCRUM, SAFe)
International and multicultural - Experience in a complex and diverse international environment is a plus.
