Reporting directly to the CFO, this executive will play a central role in advancing Preply’s financial strategy, operational discipline, and readiness for future growth milestones, including potential capital-markets activity. /p pThe VP, Finance will lead a broad portfolio spanning Business Partnership FPA, Corporate Finance, Procurement, and the Finance PMO, with dotted-line oversight of Finance Analytics. This leader will act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, executive team, and Board, ensuring strong alignment between strategic priorities, financial performance, and investor confidence. /p pbWhat you'll be doing: /b /p ul lipbStrategic Leadership: /b Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to define and execute Preply’s long-term financial strategy, supporting sustainable growth, efficiency, and global scale. /p /li lipbFinancial Stewardship: /b Lead company-wide forecasting, budgeting, capital allocation, and investment planning; ensure a disciplined approach to profitability and cash management. /p /li lipbInvestor Readiness: /b Partner closely with the CFO to strengthen Preply’s external financial narrative and engagement with investors; ensure the Finance organization supports transparency, accuracy, and credibility in all investor communications. /p /li lipbPublic-Company Preparation: /b Drive the evolution of finance systems, controls, and reporting processes required for a potential public-company environment, including governance, compliance, and audit readiness. /p /li lipbBusiness Partnership: /b Serve as a key financial advisor to senior business leaders, converting analytical insight into strategic action that advances company goals. Depth and expertise in both B2C marketplace and B2B GTM /p /li lipbOrganizational Scale: /b Build scalable processes, systems, and decision frameworks to support Preply’s global growth trajectory. /p /li lipbTeam Leadership: /b Inspire and empower high-performing teams across FPA, Corporate Finance, Procurement, and PMO; foster accountability and ownership while celebrating success. /p /li lipbFinance Analytics Collaboration: /b Align with Finance Analytics to strengthen forecasting accuracy, data quality, and executive-level financial visibility. /p /li lipbCross-Functional Program Management: /b Oversee Finance PMO initiatives to ensure disciplined execution of key strategic projects. /p /li lipbCulture and Leadership: /b Maintain a culture that balances accountability with empathy - rewarding performance, developing talent, and modeling Preply’s principle of constantly pursuing excellence. /p /li lipbAI-Enabled Finance Transformation: /b Lead the adoption of AI and agentic tools across FPA, Corporate Finance, and Procurement, identifying where automation, AI-assisted analysis, and agentic workflows can replace manual processes and raise the output quality of the finance org. /p /li lipbAI Literacy Team Enablement: /b Set the standard for how the finance team uses AI tools in day-to-day work.
