Are you looking for a stable technical role in the environmental and water management sector in Mallorca? A company specializing in water treatment and waste management in Palma is seeking a dedicated Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician to join their operational team.
In this position, you will play an essential role in keeping daily operations running smoothly, ensuring environmental safety and technical compliance across the facility.
Your key responsibilities:
Assisting with the daily operation of the wastewater treatment plant, including loading and unloading road tankers and receiving waste from clients and suppliers.
Monitoring water purification processes and supervising the correct operation of equipment and technical installations.
Detecting and troubleshooting basic technical faults.
Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on pumps, valves, piping, electrical panels, and control systems.
Following strict safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
What you bring to the role:
An intermediate vocational training qualification ("FP de grado medio") or at least 6 months of relevant experience in a similar role.
Background in plumbing, hydraulic systems, basic electricity, electromechanics, or general/industrial maintenance.
A proactive mindset, practical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Flexibility for occasional weekend call-outs to handle urgent technical incidents.
What is offered:
A permanent full-time contract.
Working schedule from Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00.
A gross annual salary of 24,000 EUR distributed across 12 monthly payments.
Additional pay for weekend incident response: 18 EUR gross per hour (with a minimum remuneration of 4 hours per call-out or actual hours worked).
Progressive on-the-job training designed to help you gradually assume full technical responsibility for the facility.
Immediate start in Palma.
