We are Applus+ Laboratories , the division of the Applus+ Group that provides testing, certification, and product development engineering services. In the CYBERSECURITY Laboratory , we are accredited to perform a wide range of security evaluations for payment schemes, identification, and IT security. We are looking for a Cybersecurity Team Lead to join our team in a hybrid technical and leadership role, combining hands-on cybersecurity evaluations with team coordination responsibilities. The role will primarily focus on participating in a wide variety of technical projects ranging from assessments following established methodologies and guidelines to custom ad-hoc engagements and internal R&D initiatives focused on new attack techniques, tools, and automation while also supporting team coordination. Essential job responsibilities Acquire knowledge of key customer's technological solutions Ensure that evaluators' work queues are consistently populated with well-defined, prioritized tasks aligned with project goals. Assign tasks based on evaluators' experience and capabilities. Track technical progress and address roadblocks or issues that arise. Cultivating a positive team culture, fostering cooperation, proactivity, transparency, communication, and support. Promoting team autonomy in executing various cybersecurity project types, ensuring adaptability to changes and challenges. Implementing tailored career development plans for individual team growth and long-term company relationships. Monitor compliance with the project schedule and budget Gain understanding of cybersecurity requirements for products and customer facilities Carry out security evaluations in different frameworks, such as LINCE, Common Criteria and SESIP, among others. Perform ad-hoc evaluations, subject to customer constraints and needs. Work with technology vendors to help meet security certification requirements Identify and resolve challenges to ensure certification project success Write technical reports and communicate effectively with customers, testing laboratories, and other stakeholders To be considered, candidates must possess Education: Technical background such as Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent degree. 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity. Leadership experience is preferred; candidates with a strong interest in leading projects, mentoring teammates, or taking ownership of technical initiatives are also encouraged to apply. Technical and Personal Skills: Coding experience with Python / C / C++ Documentary experience with Git Languages: Spanish and English (at least B2) Strong analytical and communication skills Self-starter with a passion for professional growth Passion for technology and cybersecurity Our current stack and tools: Programming Language, Python, C/ C++ Git Hacking Tools, Kali Toolsuite Operative Systems, UNIX Based OS Networks, Network basis (protocols and technical aspects), usage of network tools like wireshark Benefits Permanent contract.
