People and Talent Generalist – Novelty Spain
Location: Barcelona, Spain. Employment type: Permanent. Mode: Onsite.
We are looking for an organized, resolute, and balanced individual to lead the integral people operations. The role focuses on timesheet recording, labor tracking, and reporting.
Responsibilities
Design and implement recruitment and selection strategies to attract, identify and incorporate talent aligned with business needs and company culture.
Manage the full employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a positive professional experience.
Coordinate onboarding processes to facilitate orderly integration of new hires.
Provide support to employees and managers on People processes, acting as a reference for personnel, operational, and tracking issues.
Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance skills and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with current labour legislation and internal policies.
Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
Participate in internal communications and maintain a positive work environment aligned with company values.
Handle incidents and assist in resolving workplace issues with discretion and solution orientation.
Manage, review, and update the timesheet software daily, guaranteeing reliable data and proper process tracking.
Make timesheet record a critical base for area operations, keeping it up to date for incident control, overtime, leave, working calendars, and operational monitoring.
Prepare, review, and consolidate information for monthly labor closing, coordinating with the payroll responsible.
Ensure quality of labor data for monthly close, detect inconsistencies, and facilitate their correction.
Prepare, update and analyze key People area reports and indicators to support operational monitoring and decision making.
Coordinate and monitor occupational risk prevention and company safety measures.
Organize internal events, especially summer and Christmas.
Drive process, tool, and procedure improvements to reinforce area efficiency, control, and quality.
Requirements

University training in Labor Relations, Industrial Psychology, Law, Business or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of generalist HR or People functions.
Solid experience in selection, personnel administration, and employee lifecycle management.
Experience with employee data management tools and understanding of data importance in daily operations.
Experience in timesheet software management and knowledge of its role as a critical base.
Comfortable with handling incidents, timesheet control, leave, overtime, monthly close, and reporting.
Solid knowledge of labor legislation.
Proficient with Microsoft 365, especially Excel, and with reporting, indicators, and data analysis.
Fluent professional English communication.
Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence-building ability.
