Experteer Overview
You ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of Medical Writing deliverables across internal and external authors. You lead, train, and mentor the QC team while managing resources and process improvements. You will develop tools, set standards, and deliver on-time QC feedback to support compliant documents in drug development. This role combines hands-on QC with leadership to advance quality culture and customer satisfaction.

• Perform QC reviews of Medical Writing deliverables for internal and external clients, including complex documents, with high quality and efficiency
• Document findings following defined procedures and checklists
• Liaise with authors for questions or missing sources
• Develop quality tools, checklists, standards, and scoring methods
• May manage QC resource allocation within the team and provide training and mentoring
• Lead process improvements, tool development, and ensure adoption
• Lead QC team meetings and share lessons learned for consistency
• Contribute to budget planning for QC tasks and monitor resource needs
• Possibly lead stand-alone QC projects and act as primary customer contact
• Ensure on-time delivery of QC comments and manage daily workload with senior staff
• Stay current with MW/regulatory knowledge and drug development trends
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; master's or PhD preferred
• Typically 8+ years of experience with clinical trial documentation and QC of MW deliverables
• Deep understanding of MW deliverables' structure, format, and sources
• Strong attention to detail and language accuracy; excellent English grammar
• Ability to understand scientific/medical documents and identify deficiencies
• Familiarity with clinical study reports and protocols
• Proactive, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Clear written and spoken English communication; effective cross-functional collaboration
• Solid understanding of clinical drug development and MW deliverables
• Ability to train and guide others; provide constructive feedback
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues, managers, and customers at various levels
