Job DescriptionCommodity Purchasing buyer in Europe with support to the other regions for E-Systems reporting to Commodity Manager located in Lear Valls.Responsibilities- Support development and implementation of the Commodity strategy and own daily actions- Single contact for suppliers and cross functional teams for all Commodity activities in Europe- Develop new commodity suppliers according to the strategy and follow up their implementation within Lear- Achieve savings commodity target through negotiation and MCE implementation- MCE ideas follow-up with cross functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality, etc.). Prepare supplier workshop agenda (contacts, timing, invitations, etc.)- Support entire Product life cycle from Customer new programs award stages through mass production and until End of Life- Leverages new business awards by understanding and being aware of new programs content.- Purchasing system maintenance: timely implementation of new pricing, Minimum Order Quantity, incoterms, as well as Cost Study fulfillment and PO issuanceSkills- Material Requirements Planning- Lean Manufacturing- Cycle Counting- Quality Assurance- Good Manufacturing Practices- Record Keeping- Quality Management Systems- Production Planning- Manufacturing OperationsExperience Requirements- Engineering or Business Administration degree- Automotive working experience +5 years- Excellent language skills: English and Spanish- Good communication skills in a global organization, self-driven, highly trustable person, team player- Good organizational skillsEqual Opportunity EmployerLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.We provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
