Job Description
Commodity Purchasing buyer in Europe with support to the other regions for E-Systems reporting to Commodity Manager located in Lear Valls.
Responsibilities
Support development and implementation of the Commodity strategy and own daily actions
Single contact for suppliers and cross functional teams for all Commodity activities in Europe
Develop new commodity suppliers according to the strategy and follow up their implementation within Lear
Achieve savings commodity target through negotiation and MCE implementation
MCE ideas follow-up with cross functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality, etc.). Prepare supplier workshop agenda (contacts, timing, invitations, etc.)
Support entire Product life cycle from Customer new programs award stages through mass production and until End of Life
Leverages new business awards by understanding and being aware of new programs content.
Purchasing system maintenance: timely implementation of new pricing, Minimum Order Quantity, incoterms, as well as Cost Study fulfillment and PO issuance
